SBS International Cup originally started as a friendly match to cement friendship between Korean and Japanese high school soccer in the year of SBS 25th anniversary. (1977). The SBS Cup is one of the historical international youth tournaments and has been held 32 times counting this year.The representative of each country and the veteran club team are invited and, up to now, have been held from 24 countries centering on South America and Europe.
And, the plateau of worldwide players such as Caf, Ronaldinho (Brazil), Craifart (Netherlands), and Anelca (France) and the representation from Japans, Ono, Kawaguchi, Nakata, and Inamoto leap greatly through this rally, and it takes an active part by the World Cup beginning international scene.
